I don't know where to go??

My parents have separated and I'm just coming home from college 4 good. My mom is living with friends. I am currently living with my dad but many people think I should move to a friends house. 3 friends that have opened their homes to me, but I'd rather be home. I don't want to make an unwise choice by staying because my dad has been to jail many times and he is known for his lying. My parents always had debt and bill issues but my mom was always there to make sure my dad was doin okay. Now that its just me I don't know if he can pay the bills. I have talked to him and it seems like he is all right. he justifys many of his bad decisions for stealing by saying he was trying to make sure we had what we needed. He recently stole a meter so that we could have electricity but he got caught and was fined. I don't know if i should be living with him. His crimes are using bad checks. He also has no car and wants to use mine sometimes, he does have insurance, but i dont trust him...should i?
