Should I take band or writing cles?

Ok. I`m in 6th grade and we took a tour to the junior high and they started talking about our elective. I`m in advanced cles so I don`t think i will have to do remedial reading or remedial math as my elective. But i need help deciding between band or writing cles. I already take piano but i thought i might learn how to play the flute. But i`ll have a lot to do with school, piano lessons, and band. But i`m also a good writer. I write A LOT so i thought i might take cles. Please help me decide. I know it`s my choice but if you could give me the pros and cons of each that would help. Thanks!
