High School Cl Rank?

I am a 10th grader and will be taking all CP cles next year. I thought my Spanish teacher would recommend me for honors but aparantly not. Honestly, its BS these college prep cles are a joke I should have been in honors last year I just didn't have the grades, I have straight A's this year in these dumb cles and am only being move up one level. I believe they start ranking you during the second half of high school, that being said I will be lucky if I am in the top half. Again, I am more than willing to do whatever it takes, I AM JUST NOT GETTING A CHANCE!!! I don't think I will make it into NHS next year JUST BECAUSE OF MY RANK. Is there anything I can do? I am trying to do an accelerated course in Geometry this summer to get myself up to par with my grade level and am trying to see what else I can do, I am doing A LOT of volunteer work and will get a part time job. Is there anything I can do? ANYTHING?
