Is memory loss common with seizures?
Last Saturday, out of no where, I had a really bad seizure. I've never had 1 in the past. We don't know why I had one, I just did. It resulted in a head injury with a laceration to the bridge of my nose and a partial deviation of my septum, not to mention two HUGE black eyes. (I fell off a bar stool on to my face) Anyhow... ever since the seizure I can't remember very much. I remember waking up finding my husband VERY scared and the ambulance taking me to the ER. Ever since then I forget where I am sometimes, and completely forget what my Dr and friends tell me. I feel really bad but I just don't remember even talking to them. I had a CT scan and a EEG done, but I am awaiting EEG results. And, I get super dizzy and kneel down b/c I'm scared I'm going to have another seizure. Does anyone know if this is normal memory loss and dizziness? Will I ever improve? PLEASE HELP!!! (It's really scary! I'm 22 with a 3yr old boy- he saw the seizure and he is really freaked out too)
